Why is it that I’m thinking about groundhogs instead of turkeys for Thanksgiving? It’s just that I’m so excited…and thankful…about my new book!
After a LOT of hard work behind the scenes for the past several months, I’m so excited to finally announce that I have a new book coming out! Celebrating Groundhog Day is the origin story to Groundhog Day (fascinating!) and how cultures throughout history have celebrated the coming of spring. There are also lots of fun facts AND hands-on activities. This book is a top choice in Groundhog Day books for kids, explaining the holiday’s history, traditions, and science—and it includes interactive activities that encourage kids to celebrate at home or in their communities.
My favorite part of writing this book was the research, because honestly, I’m a research nerd. I thought I knew everything bout Groundhog Day and Punxsutawney Phil, but I was wrong! Groundhog Day has a huge backstory, and I have a new appreciation for this cute little mammal. And the activities were a lot of fun to do as well. I know you’re going to love it.
Here’s a sneak preview inside my new book Celebrating Groundhog Day. The best way you can support my book success is to pre-order your copy now. Don’t forget to hit the save/bookmark button to save this post for later!
